How to redact a PDF

  1. Upload the PDF: it stays in your browser until you download.
  2. Draw an area over each piece of information to remove, or search for a word to redact it everywhere.
  3. Download: the text under the areas is deleted from the file, not just covered.

A black box drawn in Word or a PDF reader does not delete the text: it can still be read by copy and paste.
